Ed founded Lee & Luu Consulting in 2025. He built his career at the intersection of accounting, banking, and tax. Ed graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in Business Economics and began his career at KPMG LLP (Big 4), where he worked with clients ranging from fast-growing to Fortune 100 companies. Ed worked in corporate tax compliance, preparing/reviewing ASC 740 (accounting for income taxes) tax provisions, resolving complex federal and state tax issues, while mainly assisting clients with their tax filing needs. This experience taught him the value of precise reporting, strong planning, and clear communication.

Most recently, Ed served as an Assistant Controller in the banking industry, leading day-to-day accounting operations, managing month-end and year-end close processes, overseeing payroll and investment accounting, and supporting key financial and regulatory reporting. Ed collaborated closely with auditors, regulators, and executive leadership to maintain accuracy, transparency, and strong internal controls.

After years of watching businesses struggle with unclear numbers and inconsistent financial processes, Ed started Lee & Luu Consulting to offer something better: reliable accounting, proactive guidance, and a partner who treats your business like his own.
